Il corso è mirato a raggiungere il livello B1 del Quadro di Riferimento Comune Europeo (CEFR), a questo livello si richiede fluenza, accuratezza, e naturalezza nell’uso della lingua. Una volta acquisiti la grammatica ed il lessico di livello A2+, si lavora principalmente sulla consapevolezza e l’efficacia linguistica tanto nelle produzioni orali che in quelle scritte. Oltre a saper parlare di routine e altri argomenti familiari studiati a livello elementare/pre-intermedio, cominceremo a confrontarci con temi astratti riguardanti idee, aspettative, opinioni, eventi attuali, relazioni interpersonali, argomentando e scegliendo il vocabolario appropriato.
What are the contents of the course?
Each lessons includes grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. All these contents will be studied actively, every new topic will be immediately put into practice with active and stimulating exercises involving listening and speaking activities.
Grammar: The A2 grammar contents will be revised to consolidate them, moving from a passive to an active use of the language. Moreover we will extend our competence studying more advanced grammatical structures, which are typical of the B1 level: present perfect continuous, second and third conditional, gerunds and infinitives, reported speech, passive, relative clauses, phrasal verbs.
Vocabulary: intermediate students will expand their lexical areas of competence. You will learn to build new words by adding prefixes and suffixes, you will study synonyms and compounds, collocations and word formation. You will learn wide lexis on different topics: food habits, sport, personality, money, transports and travel, education, cinema, television…
Speaking: Is a main activity in the course. You will discuss the subjects of each unit and you will practice the grammar orally. You will learn the key words and phrases to discuss a topic, expressing your ideas in a clear and well structured speech.
Listening and reading: are other important activities in the course, every new topic is integrated with listening and reading material taken from newspapers, magazines, websites articles, interviews, conversations, Tv, essays and literature.
Writing: you will practice your writing skills gaining awareness of registers and structures. During the course you will periodically write descriptions, formal and informal letters, CV, an article for a magazine, a story, a film review.

RAGAZZI (13-17 anni): GIOVEDì 16.00 – 17.30. 20 Lezioni dal 22 Febbraio al 11 Luglio per un totale di 30 ore*.
